Zachary Sims

Who is Zachary?

Zachary is a teenager with an interest in the internet and marketing.  Currently, he is a student at Columbia University studying Political Science and Economics.  He maintains his interest in the web by working as the Columbia Daily Spectator's Senior Web Editor, helping to develop online strategy and monetization opportunities.  Prior to working at the Spectator, Zachary worked as Rev2.org's Director of Content Development, helping to organize a team of writers and produce content like his Rev2 Cabinet podcast series.  He has used his web skill as well to found New School Politics, a political blog currently on hiatus that relied entirely on teenage writers.  His passions for politics, technology, and the participatory internet fuel daily endeavors that he hopes will one day change the shape of the web.  In the meantime, Zachary looks to the future with hopes of even more participation on the internet, through both the Spec, New School Politics, Rev2, and various other mediums.

Zachary spent last summer developing his interest in law by working at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom LLP.  Additionally, he served as an intern at TGP Associates, helping to develop B2B marketing solutions for clients and developing internal advertising platforms for media and airline clients.

Zachary tries to balance the rigor of his college courseload with the fun and challenge of blogging and consulting.  If you'd like to contact Zachary, please send him an e-mail. He'd be glad to hear from you.  Resumes are available upon request.
